I created the Potty Training 101 course when I realized that so many loving, but frustrated, dog owners were struggling with their dog’s potty training accidents, being embarrassed to have people over because of it, and worrying about paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars for dog training help. These dog owners would try to look for answers on YouTube, in dog magazines or forums, or ask for feedback in community or dog lover’s Facebook groups, but they weren’t really getting the help they needed. I’ve studied these problems for over 20 years and have found solutions! Here’s how training dogs and helping others has impacted my own life:
I began training dogs when I was just 9 years old with our family dog, Daisy. Through 4-H, and then through other recognized dog sports, my love for these animals grew and grew. The bonds that I have shared with my dogs has truly changed me as a person, and it’s a feeling that I want every single dog owner to have.
In my training journey, I had the good fortune to work with renowned trainer Kayce Cover, of Synalia Training Systems, and I have achieved my Level III SATS certifications in both Bridge and Target training, and in Perception Modification training. This technique has given me unique insight into how to communicate with dogs, and how to form strong, lasting bonds with them based on respect and trust.
I am passionate about helping dog owners achieve a healthy and happy bond with their dogs. So many dogs are sent to shelters or worse because of behavior problems that are pretty simple to fix, but many owners don’t have the funds or the know-how to work with their dogs. Keeping dogs with the owners who love them is one of the most important things in the world to me, which is what makes being a dog trainer such important work for me.

Every single dog and owner is different, and your results with this course depend on your consistency with your dog, and how you respond to setbacks. However, if you stick with the advice in this course and you’re consistent, you should start to see results within a few days, and should see your training problems start to resolve within a week or two!
Potty training is not necessarily something that you “work” with your dog on...it’s more about setting rhythms for your dog in your daily life. Depending on the age of your dog, and how deeply their housebreaking misunderstandings go, consistently following the advice in this course 4-8 times a day (for every potty break your dog needs) will get you the results that you want.
This course does not cover manners, behavior training, or reactivity. It is ALL about potty training for your dog, which means that this course is excellent for ANY dog and owner who is having housebreaking trouble! The advice in this course is just as effective and applicable for young puppies as it is for older dogs with potty misunderstandings. If you’ve got a dog who just does not go potty where they should, this course will be a good fit for you!
